The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan has said that on Monday morning, Pakistan conducted intelligence-based anti-terrorist operations in the border area of Afghanistan.
According to the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the target of today’s operation was the terrorists associated with the Hafiz Gul Bahadur group. This group, along with the Tehreek Taliban Pakistan (TTP), is responsible for many terrorist activities in Pakistan.
Hundreds of civilians and law enforcement officials have been martyred in these attacks. The latest attack took place on March 16, 2024, on a security post in Mir Ali in North Waziristan and martyred seven Pakistani soldiers, the statement said. It has informed the interim government of Afghanistan about the presence of terrorist organizations.
