US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said in a press briefing that we are looking forward to working more broadly with Pakistan on the inclusion of women in the country’s politics.
In response to a question, the spokesperson said that we have already said that we are aware of the importance of our long association with Pakistan and value this partnership. A strong, stable and democratic Pakistan is vital to US interests.
