Usman Khan, an Emirati cricket player of Pakistani descent, is taking part in the Pakistan Cricket Team’s training camp at Pakistan Military Academy Kakul.
Earlier, Imad Wasim and Mohammad Amir made the decision to re-join the Pakistan team following their retirement from international cricket.
Usman Khan, a Pakistani national, and former players are getting ready to join the Pakistan side as they get ready for the ICCT20 World Cup in the near future, thanks to the efforts of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
A few days ago, fast bowler Mohammad Amir announced his retirement after almost four years, while another player, all-rounder Imad Wasim, also retired from international cricket.
Imad Wasim announced his retirement in November of last year.
These three players are part of the 29-member squad participating in the training camp on Tuesday at the Military Academy Kakul in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
The inclusion of these players in the training camp has also sparked a debate about the future of the Pakistani team.
The 29-member squad is expected to represent Pakistan in the home T20 series against New Zealand, the T20 series against Ireland and England, and the upcoming ICCT20 World Cup in America and the West Indies.
Faizan Lakhani, a journalist and analyst who has access to sports affairs, said while talking to Urdu News that the board has decided to bring back Imad Wasim and Muhammad Amir. Why did you have to go around and then go to those players who had called cricket Khairabad?
